Dr. Shanequa Bennet is a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist, podcaster, and business owner. She currently practices pharmacy at Advent Health Altamonte, has a podcast entitled Divas and Tea, and owns Top It Off online boutique. As a young child, Shanequa has always been interested in science, reading, and helping others. Shanequa has a day named after her in her hometown of Winter Haven, FL. Additionally, she has a key to the city of Winter Haven presented to her by its former mayor for her community service and contribution to adult literacy. Shanequa obtained her doctorate degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University and specialty training as a general pharmacy resident. She has worked as a clinical pharmacy specialist at Orlando Health where she was instrumental in developing pharmacy-directed protocols, guidelines, and was consulted for her expertise with patient care. Currently, at Advent Health, Shanequa continues to lead, guide, and shape the field of medicine as a pharmacy supervisor. She is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacists.
Shanequa is passionate about her field and her goal is to be an attentive resource for those individuals in the community who struggle to obtain adequate access to healthcare. Shanequa’s patience and ability to break down her knowledge is a valuable resource to her patients. She prays to continue to live in her God-given purpose by sharing her gifts and talents with those in need.
